I have been in ticketing for 25 years and have used 6 different ticket systems.  I always thought that all ticket systems were the same: they sell tickets.  TyTix, our current ticket system at the Wisconsin State Fair Park made me realize how wrong I have been.  In addition to the 900,000 guests that come to our State Fair, buying their tickets online, day of or in advance, and real time scanning as they enter.  Did I mention scanning of their pre paid parking pass prior to the gates?  During the fair, we have 11 days of concerts at our 10,500 seat grandstand, different pricing structures for most, again, real time scanning as they enter.

Vendors and staff, all 4000 of them, have credentials.  Their individual bar code gets them onto the grounds, just as if it were a ticket, with all the same benefits.

When the fair is not going on, we have an Exposition Center that hosts 30 weekends of trade shows, weekend festivals and rodeos, all as ticketed events.

It is your choice, TyTix will set up the event for you or if you are like us, we control everything.  We build the event, set up the buyers, access rules, price codes, ticket set up, etc.  We can change and adjust in a matter of seconds.  It is a web based system and, like myself, you can do your work from home.  There are hundreds of reports and if it’s not there, they will write it for you.  All of this and you set the fees.  Better yet, all fees are yours.  I pay for my entire sales staff on our internet order fees.

Lastly, customer service is phenomenal.  You are not passed from person to person, you do not talk to a machine, they are there for you.  They listen, they react and they care.

All ticket systems are not the same until you explore TyTix as your system.
