Some of our customers require more than just a ticketing software solution. In some cases, they also require the equipment necessary to make it all work—which we also provide.
Here are some frequently requested rental equipment needs:
Selling Terminal – Our traditional selling terminals include a monitor, CPU, mouse, keypad, credit card swipe and ticket printer.
Thermal Ticket Printers – If you already have a computer terminal but need a ticket printer, we can provide a standalone thermal ticket printer to interface with your existing computer.
Scanners – Our wireless handheld barcode scanners enable you to validate hard stock tickets, print at home PDF tickets, badges and pre-printed barcoded tickets, all in real time. We also can provide scanners that are capable of scanning PDF tickets on mobile devices including phones and tablets.
Cameras – TyTix can add IP cameras with monitoring software to locations near your gates to allow viewing of foot traffic, line length and arising issues all from your desk or mobile device. This allows you to make better decisions on staffing and crowd control as well as keep apprised of real-time activities.
TyTix CrowdBuster – New to our TyTix offerings, we offer a full mobile selling solution that enables you to quickly mobilize a staff to accept cash and credit cards in an additional location. It’s your computerized replacement of an apron seller. The CrowdBuster is comprised of a tablet, credit card swipe, and mobile ticket printer.
On-site Event Support and Training
In addition to providing rental equipment, TyTix can provide on-site services to install, maintain, troubleshoot and remove equipment during your event. Since we are a full-service solution, we also help with training and optimization of box office functions and gate operations. The amount of training offered depends on the size and needs of the venue, whether the sellers have received prior training, number of days before the event, and more.

We’ve worked with events with varying levels of infrastructure from nothing at all to fiber optics at every gate. So we can handle whatever infrastructure needs your require. What’s more, we have the ability to add point-to-point 5ghz wireless, Cat5e cabling and wireless access points at each gate to make your operation work.
Depending on your specific needs, TyTix offers training across a broad array of venue functions. We will gladly train our customers and their staffers on how to run daily reports, print tickets and process payment.
Bank/Money Room Management
Since cash management is the heart of every fair gate operation, TyTix can train money room or bank staff on how to read TyTix sales reports, run financial reports and input cash drop offs and pickups. We also train staff on how to integrate reports and functions into existing procedures—saving time and reducing the potential for errors.
