The server implementation of the TyTix ticket software is extremely flexible and includes three possible scenarios:
Client provided hardware at client location – With this option, you can choose to manage your own hardware at your own location. TyTix will provide the ticketing software and licenses for installation. All equipment service, maintenance and replacement are the responsibility of the client. This option provides the most control over the software and hardware of the ticket system. If your Internet connection is unreliable, this option is recommended. If the Internet connection goes down, you will still be able to access the ticket software through your internal network; however, credit card processing and incoming online sales will be delayed until Internet access is reestablished.
To get maximum benefit from the TyTix software, the following server requirements must be met:
TyTix-leased server hardware at client location –A leased server utilizes the customer’s Internet connection. TyTix provides all server service, maintenance and replacement. This option provides partial control over the software and hardware of the ticket system without the additional expense of personnel to handle maintenance and upkeep on a server system. If your Internet connection is unreliable, this option is also recommended. If the Internet connection goes down, you will still be able to access the ticket software through your internal network; however, credit card processing and incoming online sales will be delayed until Internet access is reestablished.

TyTix Hosted Solution – We also offer a Hosted Solution that reduces and/or eliminates your server hardware and software expenses as well as personnel time and expenses. TyTix will manage your licenses on a secure server that will handle all of your ticket sales including all the features that your TyTix software currently provides. All you need is a reliable Internet connection. This option provides the best option for those that do not want to manage a server or deal with server maintenance. If your Internet connection goes down, you will not have access to the ticket software, but your patrons can continue to make purchases online through the web interface.
